How We Started?
Feast of Harvest Farm, LLC is a 64-acre farm located in Carson, Virginia. It is part of a 4th generation Black family-owned 222-acre farm owned by Vanessa’s great-grandparents. Shelton and Vanessa purchased their portion of the family’s farm from her parents’ estate in 2016.
Our Name
The significance of the name, Feast of Harvest Farm, LLC is from the biblical meaning of planting and reaping. Many ancestors laboured and were not given the harvest from their planting. Feast of Farm, LLC will invite all communities to “plant” not only crops, but Christian values, ideas, experiences, and hopes.
What We Offer
Feast of Harvest Farm, LLC will offer outdoor concerts, culinary experiences, and farm demonstrations. Also, “The Farm House” is a three bedroom completely renovated brick rancher available for a “farm stay’ experience”. Lastly, we offer our guest the opportunity to create their own experience.
Our Vision
The vision for the farm is to bring people together for spiritual, physical, mental, social, economic cohesiveness to plant the seeds of positive society change, family unity, spiritual ignition and infusion for future generation harvesting and “seed saving”.
